Erika Ruth Watters

It is with warm hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Erika Ruth Watters on March 6, 2026. Born in El Paso, Texas, to Harold Rey Kleinman and Nilvia Nair Alvarez, Erika lived a life filled with adventure, love, and a passionate commitment to those around her.

Erika dedicated an incredible 42 years to her career as a Registered Nurse, pouring her heart and soul into caring for others. She was a beacon of compassion and strength, touching countless lives along the way. However, her greatest joy came from her children, to whom she devoted herself wholeheartedly, always cheering them on and encouraging their dreams.

Erika was a true lover of the outdoors. Whether she was riding horses, camping under the stars, or hitting the trails on her four-wheeler, nature brought her pure happiness. She had an adventurous spirit that relished hunting and fishing trips alike, and along the way could always be found collecting beautiful rocks that caught her eye—each of them a special treasure, and a pastime that she loved sharing with her children and also grandchildren.

Join us as we celebrate the wonderful life of Erika Watters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16 at 11:00 am at the church 320 North 100 East, American Fork.
