With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eric Mark Davis, born on June 6, 1976, in Paris, Kentucky, who left us too soon on July 27, 2025, at the age of 49. Eric lived most recently in the beautiful surroundings of Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Eric's journey through life was filled with love, laughter, and a deep passion for music. He was an incredibly talented audio engineer, renowned for his skill and creativity, and effortlessly brought joy to countless projects while sharing his gift as a bass player. Music was not just his profession; it was the rhythm of his life.

Married on June 5, 2021, to his beloved wife Shannon Davis, Eric and Shannon shared a bond that felt like it was pulled straight from the pages of a fairy tale. Though their marriage was brief, their connection was forged over 31 years of friendship, growing together through life's ups and downs. Eric was not just a husband; he was a devoted family man and an amazing father, always prioritizing his loved ones above all else.

Those who knew Eric fondly remember him for his charismatic personality and infectious sense of humor. He had a way with words, often speaking his mind without a filter, which made every conversation with him both honest and refreshing. His kindness was boundless-he truly had a heart of gold and went out of his way to help anyone in need.

Eric is survived by his loving wife Shannon, his children: Dillon Davis, Shannon (Tristan) Gibson, Lyla Davis and Lyca Davis, his father Mark Davis, and his mother Rebecca Davis and his cousin Michael, who was like a brother to him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Dorcas Davis with whom he shared a birthday with and was very close and his grandfather Luther Davis. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.

Though Eric may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in the music he created, the laughter he shared, and the countless lives he enriched with his warmth and authenticity.
