Emma Sophia Atwood

Emma Sophia Atwood - September 20, 2023 to October 3, 2023.  Cause of death: Alobar Holoprosencephaly.  Emma was otherwise perfect, lacking the condition’s other typical defects.  She died peacefully in her parents’ arms about 12 hours after withdrawing life support.  She is survived by:

• Parents; Jonathan Walter & Elizabeth Stokes Atwood, and two siblings; Millen Dan Atwood (age 7), & Ellieanna Amaya Atwood (age 3), of American Fork Utah, USA.
• Grandparents; Millen Dan Atwood (Ana Edith Orozco Lima De Atwood) and Leland Dean Stokes Jr. (Patricia Howden); all of American Fork.
• Tias Ariana Orozco Atwood Hesterly (Andrew Andreson Hesterly) of Spring, Texas, USA; Hazel Elizabeth Atwood of Castle Rock, Colorado, USA; Elsie Mera Atwood of American Fork; & Aunt Joanna Stokes Hickman (Lyle John) of Columbus, Mississippi, USA. 
• Uncles James Gordon Stokes (Amy Nuttall) of Lehi, Utah; and Neal Martin Stokes (Samantha J Woodcox) of Pleasant Grove, Utah.
• Bisabuela Ana Lima Quiroz de Orozco of Santiago de Querétaro, México.
• Many great and great-great uncles and great and great-great aunts plus numerous cousins who reside in the USA, Mexico, South Africa, and elsewhere.

Graveside services by Anderson Mortuary to be held at the American Fork City Cemetery, 26 West 600 North, on Saturday, October 7^th, at 2:00 P.M.
