Donal Mattias O'Sullivan

It is with heavy hearts yet joyful reflections that we announce the passing of Donal Mattias O'Sullivan, who left us far too soon on August 19, 2026, at the young age of 20. Born on November 29, 2005, in Boise, Idaho, Donal was a sensitive, gentle, and deep soul whose music, philosophy, and brilliant humour touched everyone he met. He brought immense joy and creativity into the world, leaving it far brighter than he found it.

Donal was the cherished son of Kieran O'Sullivan and Rebecca Noel Firmage O'Sullivan. Remembered for his immense capacity to love and his vibrant, passionate spirit, Donal leaves behind a family that adored him. He is survived by his devoted parents, Kieran and Rebecca; his brother, Ciaran O'Sullivan; and his grandmother, Marvis Firmage. He also leaves behind a wide circle of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and deeply loyal friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Donal's light will continue to guide us as we hold him close in the sacredness of our hearts, finding comfort in his memory through both the pain and beauty of life's cycle.

A memorial service celebrating Donal's life will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, located at 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. We invite all who knew and loved Donal to join us as we come together to honour his vibrant spirit, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful moments we were fortunate enough to share with him.
