Dolores “Dolly” Beth Day Sanders, beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed away on December 11, 2022 in Highland, UT. Dolores was born to Louis Ereal Day and Elizabeth Roundy Day Hyde in American Fork, UT on March 20, 1936. She married her husband Dell C Sanders in the Manti, Utah temple on July 6, 1954.
She is survived by her husband Dell and their 6 children; Kelly, Terry, Drew, Holli, Elizabeth and Kyle. She is also survived by her 2 siblings Debra and Loren. Dolores has 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Dolores loved reading all sorts of historical romance books and collecting dolls. She enjoyed crochet, making quilts and scrapbooking. She also loved spending time with her family, extended family and friends.
Dolores leaves an amazing legacy of unconditional love and acceptance for her children and everyone she associated with. She reflected this example during her church leadership positions as Relief Society President, Primary President, Primary Chorister and various youth organizations.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 19, 2022 at 11:00 am in the American Fork 33rd ward chapel. 1305 N 100 E, American Fork, UT 84003. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services from 9:15 – 10:45 am at the same location. Interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery. Mortuary services provided by Anderson & Sons, 49 E 100 N, American Fork, UT 84003.
