David Tim Hall (Tim) was born July 4, 1955 to Duane F. and Marjorie Naylor Hall in Provo, Utah. He passed away Friday, February 2nd at his home in Lehi with his sister by his side. He lived in Provo in his early childhood, but spent most of his growing years in American Fork.
Tim was an athlete and played baseball, basketball and football. He played high school football for the American Fork Cavemen and received a scholarship to the University of Utah and played for one season. He loved the outdoors and spent his time backpacking, camping and fishing, using flies that he tied himself. He loved Yellowstone and made an annual trip there for many years.
Tim worked for Rubber Engineering, Fowler Pump, Linatex and trimming trees around power lines for Davey Trees and Trees Incorporated. He was a hard worker and it took a toll on his body. He was kind hearted, loved animals and was the favorite uncle.
Tim was preceded in death by his mom and dad, grandparents, 2 nephews Jeremy Hall and Jake Goodwin, and brother in law Reed Southwick.
He is survived by his brother Brett Hall (Joanne), sisters Kathy Goodwin (Chuck) and Gayleen Southwick (Mark Smith), nephews Nick Hall (Kacy), Dallas Goodwin (Mel), Travis Goodwin (Carrie), Tyler Hall, and niece Makenzie Williams (Talon) and great niece Presley Goodwin.
