It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Daniel Paul Elbaba (bubba), who left us too soon, on July 6, 2026. He was born on July 20, 1983, in the American Fork Hospital in Utah. Daniel not only brought warmth and laughter to everyone but he was also kind, loving, and compassionate. He had a heart of gold and those that knew him were fortunate to have done so.
Daniel was a true woodwork enthusiast, a football fanatic, loved to BBQ, and a friend who you could go to for anything and could also light up any gathering with his infectious laughter. He had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around him feel special and appreciated, and his legacy of kindness will continue to inspire all who loved him.
He is survived by his beloved parents, Raul and Vivian Elbaba; his dear children, Ava, Dallas, and Luci; and his devoted sisters, Karla (Jeff) Derbidge and Tricia (Jason) Pugh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and is preceded in death by his grandparents, his aunt Linda Carrizo, and his nephew Alex Pugh.
To celebrate Daniel's remarkable life, we invite you to join us for funeral services on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the American Fork Hillcrest 4th Ward, located at 680 North 350 West. Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects during a viewing on Monday, July 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. Additional viewing will be held prior to the services on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the church.
Following the service, Daniel will be laid to rest at the American Fork Cemetery, where we will honor his memory together.
Join us as we come together to reflect on Daniel's life, share stories, and celebrate the joy he brought to our lives. Let's remember him not with sorrow, but with laughter, love, and the cherished memories we will carry in our hearts forever.
