Christa Marie Fidler

July 1, 1982 — March 24, 2023

In the early morning hours on March 24, 2023 Heaven gained an angel. Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend, Christa, left this world peacefully and perfectly with her husband by her side holding her hand. Christa was born July 1, 1982 at home in Murray, Utah. Christa came into her family to be with her two brothers and two sisters. Christa was a happy child, always making people laugh and spreading joy wherever she went. She truly was the "Sunshine" in her family.

As a child Christa loved playing outside, dancing, singing, flipping and playing make believe with her sisters. She loved camping as a child and loved dogs. Christa was very involved in gymnastics. She started competing when she was 6 and by age 10 she was competing at Level 10. She was the youngest ever to compete and win 1st place at the Level 10 Utah State Championships. She was very passionate about the sport and later in life enjoyed being a dedicated gymnastics coach and even owned her own gymnastics school.

Christa attended Murray High School where she enjoyed participating in the Acapella Choir, school plays and musicals. Christa loved to dance any chance she got. She performed with the Murray High Spartonian Drill Team. She was an excellent student and graduated from high school with a 3.9 GPA. She had 100% attendance all four years of high school.

Tim and Christa met in high school and "re-found" each other a few years later. Tim married the love of his life April 25, 2008. Their love was extraordinary and will endure forever. Christa was Tim's true love. Christa life's dream was always to be a wife and mother and she devoted her life to being the best wife and mother to their children. Family meant everything to Christa and she meant the world to us. She always made holidays so much fun and was very involved in their children's activities. Christa taught their children to be kind and to always have a grateful heart. Christa loved to travel and most recently traveled to Walt Disney World and Disneyland. She was always excited and grateful for those opportunities and to make special memories with her family. Christa loves fast cars, ice cream, and chocolate, the color yellow and sunflowers. Driving and riding in the "Hellcat" always brought a huge smile to her beautiful face. Christa can light up the room with her beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile. She is beautiful inside and out.

Almost two years ago Tim and Christa's life changed forever as she received the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer. Tim and Christa fought this battle together, hand in hand. Although this journey they fought together was incredibly hard, their love for one another was strengthened. They were both warriors in this fight and never gave up, always having hope for the future. Christa fought every day to be able to stay with their sweet family and she wanted nothing more than to raise them and be part of their lives. Tim went to extraordinary lengths in his efforts to extend her life and provide comfort. His endless support and love for her is such a great example for all of us-especially his children. They know their dad loves their mother! We thank Tim for all he did for "his love" Christa.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and kindness to our family. There are no words to express the love and gratitude we have towards our neighbors and friends. Thank you for the countless meals, the loving child care, the wooden bench to watch the kids, the shoveling of the walks, and the willingness to go above and beyond whatever was asked. We want to thank the doctors and nurses at American Fork Hospital for their love and care of Christa. Christa was loved by everyone she met. She was blessed to have earthly angels take care of her and her family for the past almost 2 years and we give our love and gratitude to Bryanne, Mindy, Angie, Becky, Laura, Kristen, and Brittney. You will never know how much we love you!

We will forever celebrate Christa's life and because we knew Christa, we have been changed for good. She is a gift to all who know her, and she will always be in our hearts. Love you sweet Christa-always and forever!

Christa leaves behind her loving husband Tim and children Brigham, Alice, Tinley, and Kaylin. Father Arnold Sielhorst, mother Lorna Bagley, brothers Loal (Jodie) Gould, Jesse Sielhorst, sisters Tonya (Dave) Grotepas, Laura (Erich) Weiss, parents-in-law Alan and Dianne Fidler, and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who adore her and will miss her very much.
