Bryan Johnson

October 25, 1964 — July 11, 2018

Bryan Johnson was born on October 25, 1964 to Dee Frank Johnson and Jacquella Aime Johnson in Murray, Utah. After suffering a heart attack, Bryan passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 11, 2018. Growing up, Bryan played several sports and won awards throwing the javelin. He excelled at skiing and would jump over any ledge turning summersaults. He loved scouts and earned his Arrow of Light and his Eagle. His summers were filled with water skiing and jet skiing with his family. Bryan often talked of spending time with his grandpa camping as a child and so much wanted to do the same for his own grandchildren.  Bryan loved the outdoors and fully embraced anything he tried.
After returning from his mission to Dearborn, Michigan in 1986, he met the love of his life, Sonja Wignall. They were married September 6 th , 1990. They had 3 children together, Alyssa, Nathan, and Nicole. Alyssa married Cody Sampson and they had Bryan's first grandson, Steel on April 13 th of this year. Bryan was employed at Contractor's HVAC for 24 years and most recently Mountainland Supply. Bryan cared deeply for his wife and children and worked tirelessly to provide a good life for them to make sure they would always be taken care of. He played football in high school and loved coaching his own son in the sport. Motocross was his passion; he loved going riding with his family and working on his motorcycles in his garage. Family ski days, riding motorcycles, and family fishing trips are some of our fondest memories. Bryan encouraged his children to try every activity . Those that knew Bryan well, knew him to be kind, generous, and a loyal friend.
Bryan leaves behind his Mom, 4 sisters and 1 brother, along with their spouses, and many nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and friends. Bryan is preceded in death by his father and grandparents. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to those that stepped in to help Bryan and wouldn't give up. We are so grateful to the staff at Utah Valley Hospital who genuinely cared for Bryan and did everything they could to try to keep him here with his family.
