Barbara Larsen

February 10, 1923 — May 1, 2019

Barbara Jean Stubbs Larsen passed away in her home in Lehi, Utah as the result of living a long and very happy life of 96 years. She was a beautiful wife, nurturing mother, a grandmother and great grandmother, a sister and sweet friend.  She will be greatly missed.
Barbara was born on Feb. 10, 1923 in Lakeview, Utah, to Edson LeRoy and Mildred Bernice (Downs) Stubbs.  She was the oldest of 5 children and grew up on their family farm in Lakeview, Utah.

Barbara loved to play golf and bridge, enjoyed painting and writing children’s stories for her grandchildren.  She enjoyed hosting many dinner parties but her best gift was spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband, a dedicated and constant companion of 77 years, Narion Gale, their two daughters, Patricia Call (Don) of Highland, UT., Susan Weiland (Lynn) of Pagosa Springs, CO. and her younger brother, Byron Stubbs (Marjean). Barbara and Gale have been blessed with and are surrounded by 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two of their children, William Larsen (Carol) in 1985 and Marsha Moore (Jim) in 2011, her brother, Jackie and her two sisters, Marjorie (Alvin) Harding and Susan (Jim) Garmoe.
