Austin Miller

Austin Dion Miller, age 31, of Saratoga Springs, Utah, passed away on May 28, 2025. Austin was born on July 20, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Dion (Don) and Lynn (Lanae) Miller.

Austin loved the outdoors and the dogs we've had over the years-especially his best friend, Goose. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and a good fire, no matter the weather-rain, snow, or shine. He often cleaned up the hills above our home in Saratoga Springs and in Cedar Valley. He was passionate about keeping recreational spaces clean. Sadly, he didn't get to take his final trash round-up to the dump. Austin was also generous, always ready to help neighbors and strangers in need. He was the first to grab a tow strap and help pull out stuck vehicles in the snow.

Austin was a hard worker, a loyal friend, and a devoted family member. He was a joy to raise, cared deeply for his momma, and was his dad's best friend-until mental illness stole him from us.

Austin is survived by his parents, Dion (Don) and Lynn (Lanae) Miller; his brother, Dakota Miller; and his grandmothers, Merle Gene Lumsden Callahan and Nancy Cayer. He is also survived by loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and his ashes will be spread on his birthday, July 20, at Fairview Canyon. We would love for as many family and friends as possible to join us.

Austin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and his dogs. We find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and is with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that we will one day be reunited with him.
