Arno Liebelt

June 2, 1933 — September 9, 2019

Arno Theodore Liebelt, 86, passed away September 9, 2019 in Lehi, Utah.  He was born June 2, 1933 in American Fork, Utah to Arno Max Liebelt and Gertrude Schumdt Liebelt.  He married Margie Dumas on November 13, 1964 in Nevada.  They were later divorced.

Arno was a prankster and had a good sense of humor.  He was also very giving, almost to a fault, and took great care of his family.  He was a truck driver and spent a lot of time crossing the country.  At one time he owned a hotel in West Yellowstone.

He is survived by his sisters: Mary Liebelt (John) Grey, Hedy Liebelt McClellan and Nancy Liebelt, 3 children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eric and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.  A viewing will be held from 12:45-1:45 PM prior to the services.  Burial will be in American Fork Cemetery.
