Angela Jean Munoz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Angie. Angie passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, surrounded by her brothers, sister, mother, and care staff. Her family is grateful that she is now free from suffering. Born Angela Jean Muñoz in Gardena, California, to Betty Jean Muñoz and Cosme Salvador Muñoz, Angie was pure-hearted, wonderfully funny, and deeply loved.

Angela embodied light and innocence. She found joy in music, food, and warm sunny spots. She loved swimming and, when she was younger, playing with and caring for the farm animals at her dad's dairy farm. She often brought laughter to those around her and had a special gift for giving nicknames.

Angela grew up in Mexico with her siblings. She was known by all as kind, pure, and incapable of harming others. At the same time, she had a spirited strength and would not let anyone push her around, including her younger siblings. She had a deep love for God and a strong faith, and her devotion was an example to those who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, father, and five siblings. Angie also leaves behind nine nieces and nephews who will carry her memory and legacy forward.

A viewing will be held in Angie's honor on September 18, 2026, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. A service will follow in the onsite chapel, with burial at the American Fork Cemetery after the service. Family and friends are invited to share stories, remember her life, and celebrate the lasting love and joy she brought into the world.

Although we say goodbye to her earthly life, we take comfort in knowing she is in heaven, free of her ailments and reunited with departed loved ones. Angie, thank you for blessing our lives. We love you, and we will forever hold you in our hearts.
