Alouise Serrano

Alouise Tonnesen Serrano passed away peacefully in Rexburg, Idaho on Monday, November 24, 2014, at age 84.
Alouise was born on May 23, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Robert and Alice (Gleason) Tonnesen. She is preceded in death by her younger brother, Lane. Alouise graduated from West High School in 1948. She married the late Angelo Serrano, April 10, 1965, and they lived together in San Bruno, California before retiring to Highland, Utah.
Alouise was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved genealogy and served a mission in The Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Alouise also loved working with the Senior Companion Program for 17 years.
Alouise is survived by three children: Steve (Janis), Lehua (Anthony) Korpacz, and Ryan(Tiffany). Alouise also has two step-children: Judy Cosner and the late Carl Serrano. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Anderson & Sons Mortuary,49 E 100 N, American Fork, UT 84003. There will also be a viewing from 9:45-10:45 am followed by funeral services at 11 am on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Highland 12th Ward, 5853 W 10400 N, Highland, UT 84003. Interment will be at The American Fork City Cemetery.
