Eldon Aaron Walker, 82, passed away March 8, 2010 in American Fork, Utah. He was born October 2, 1927 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Aaron Burton and Ruby May Bullock Walker. He married Bonnie Lou Hamann on May 28, 1947 and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 1964. Bonnie died August 23, 1980. Eldon married LaVern Ivie Hopkinson on June 19, 1981.

Alice Mae Hone Whiteman passed away on March 8, 2010. She was born on February 19, 1925 to Everett and Verge Higginson in Benjamin, Utah, the second of 10 children; Alice graduated from Spanish Fork High School and then worked as a forklift driver to support the war effort. She married Henry J. Wright in January 1944. Alice married Robert (Bob) Whiteman in August 1950. Alice and Bob moved to American Fork in 1957. While Bob worked at Geneva Steel and union official, Alice made a beautiful home for their five children.

Rulon, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away early in the morning on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in American Fork, Utah. He will be greatly missed.
He was born to Ralphus Moroni Smith and Thelma (Nicholes) Smith on January, 28, 1927 in Alpine, Utah. He grew up a spunky young boy in the Alpine hills with his brother Leon and his sister, Sherma, by whom he is survived. Rulon graduated from American Fork High School in 1945, and soon thereafter enlisted in the Armed forces.
He was preparing for deployment overseas when WWII ended.

He married Arlean Mae Nielsen on August 27, 1948 in Riverton, Utah, their marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, February 1, 1951. They had six children.

June Proctor Robinson, 85, of Alpine, died February 21, 2010 in American Fork. Born May 4, 1924 in American Fork, Utah the daughter of Robert Gardner Proctor and Eva Warburton Proctor. She married Ray W Robinson August 26, 1941 in American Fork, Utah and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 26, 1942.

June was first a wife and mother and was dearly loved by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a seamstress for her family, she was the family barber, and

George Lloyd Crawford, a dairy farmer and long time member of the LDS American Fork Seventh Ward, died peacefully on February 16th 2010 in Payson, Utah at the age of 93.
George was born in Enterprise, Utah on a homestead farm where he learned to work hard and to herd sheep. When he was a teenager, his parents settled on a farm on the Provo Bench which is now known as Orem, Utah. He attended Pleasant Grove High School where he graduated at the age of 16. He later attended BYU where he studied agriculture science.

Dannie Lee Perkins, age 46, returned to his Heavenly Father on February 17, 2010 in Provo, Utah. He was born August 7, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to Don Allen and Dorothy Louise Stratton Perkins.
He loved rides in the car, french fries, balloons, music, dancing, stuffed animals and his friends. Danny was a happy, sweet, energetic young man. Everyone who came in contact with him fell in love with his sweet spirit.

Robert Henri Teichert, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on Feb 10, 2010, five days after his 90th birthday. He was born Feb 5, 1920 in Sterling Idaho, the second child of Herman and Minerva Teichert.
Robert grew up on cattle ranches in American Falls ID and Cokeville WY. He graduated early from Cokeville high school, served in the Spanish American Mission and earned a B.S. from BYU. The day after graduation he entered the US Army, training as an officer and a medic.

On January 30, 2010 Eddie Victor Jackson, 62, passed away peacefully in his home in American Fork, Utah.

He was born in June 1947. He was married to Barbara Edith (Hostetter) Jackson, in the Mesa Arizona temple on June 7, 1969. A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he served in the North Western States mission, as well as many other church positions. He left behind a legacy of endurance, optimism and love that will always be cherished by family and friends.

She was born December 26, 1916 in American Fork, UT to Vern Walker and Hazel Belle Leffler . She married her high school sweetheart, Vern Arthur Gordon December 6, 1941, in Las Vegas, Nevada and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Art and Edith spent their early married years in Long Beach, CA, and then returned to American Fork and set up a photography studio. Edith assisted her husband in his photography business for over 40 years.

Robert Leonard Face, 60, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born July 28, 1949 I Chicago, IL to Leonard Raymond and Maeta May Krause Face. He married Jackie Stone December 2, 1976 in Logan, Utah.

He worked as a journeyman electrician for 25 years for Utah Power and Light. In the last 5 years he spent his time with his granddaughter, Whitney, and Molly Parduhn, each taking care of the other. His family was his focus in life. Robert loved to read, learn, and spend time camping and fishing in West Yellowstone.

Colette Eliza Chadwick was born Sunday, January 24, 2010 in the American Fork Hospital to her parents, Dustin Kenneth Chadwick and Julia Susanne Wendel Chadwick. She was airlifted to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah for emergency care.
After a valiant fight for life, Colette passed away the same day,
January 24, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was graciously shared and entrusted to us for a moment and then taken home to
her Heavenly Father. Colette is loved and cherished and will be
remembered with great warmth and affection until we are reunited.

At the age of 45, John George Roy peacefully passed through the veil with his eternal companion by his side on January 18, 2010. His passing followed a year of intense struggle for George and his family. His body became his prison and he is now free.

George graduated from Provo High and BYU. He became a very successful broker and entrepreneur, specializing in public speaking. “Make it Happen” was George’s mantra and that is how he chose to live his life. He loved “Making it Happen” for others.

Neil was a devoted husband and father who exemplified love and sacrifice for his family. He married Deborah Poulsen in the Salt Lake Temple on Aug 22, 1969. He was the father of Jennifer Ann, David James (deceased), Nathan Aaron (Amber), Jewel Noel McKinney (Dagan), Jonathan Matthew, Elizabeth Lee Wendel (Ty), and Samuel Adam (Shelley).

H. Evan Gardiner, age 41, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2010 after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with brain cancer.
Born October 20, 1968 to Harold and Janet Gardiner, Evan was raised in Massachusetts and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1986.
He served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Zurich, Switzerland from 1987 to 1989.

Cindy Kaye Bezzant Hansen, 46, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her home in American Fork, Utah. Cindy was born March 25, 1963 in American Fork to Robert Allen Bezzant and Grace LaRae Huffman Bezzant. She married Lynn R. Hansen in the Provo LDS Temple on December 12, 1992.

Cindy loved doing crafts, fixing up the house to look nice, and doing yard work.

Survived by her husband Lynn, her daughter Hillary and 4 stepchildren, Annlisa, Spencer, Jobe, and Quin, her sisters Margaret (deceased) and Janet, and her brother, Robert and his wife Shauna Bezzant.

John William Soderquist was born on May 6, 1953 in Provo, Utah, to A. Gene and Mary Barstow Soderquist formerly of Blackfoot, Idaho. He died of natural causes on Monday, January 11, 2010, in Phoenix, AZ, where he resided for the past 9 years. John grew up in Blackfoot, and graduated from the Blackfoot High School. After graduation he attended the former “Ricks” College in Rexburg, Idaho. John was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served for 2 years in the Arizona New Mexico Navajo speaking mission.

C. Richard (Dick) Devey was born August 13, 1932, at home in American Fork, Utah. He died January 9, 2010, also at home surrounded with family in American Fork. He was the second son and third of four children born to Walter Boley and Alvera Creer Devey. Dick grew up working with the family in the dairy, poultry, and farming businesses and later in their retail clothing business. Also living boyhood adventures with childhood friends and neighbors. He attended the local schools graduating from American Fork High School in 1950.

Our loving mother, Elaine Miller Howes, 87, of American Fork, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Cedar Hills, Utah. She was born January 21, 1922 in Heber City, Utah to John Henry and Cora Danielson Miller. She married Ray Howes in Phoenix, Arizona and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They were the proud parents of a daughter and 2 sons, Curt, Susan, and Gary. Ray passed away December 10, 2006.

Molly Nelson Parduhn, 94, passed away January 3, 2010 in American Fork, Utah.
She was born in Richfield, Utah to Andrew (Cap) Nelson and Katherna “Kate” Olson.
She married Jaren “Jay” Parduhn, May 18, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death July 1, 1997. She and her husband operated the Star Flour Mill in American Fork. Molly retired from Mt. Bell and after her retirement she and Jay loved to travel and they had a show place home and garden.

He married Genevieve Angela Gallegos February 2, 1985 in Orem Utah. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North American Fork. Claudeen Nelson Sorenson Shelley Conder passed away December 22, 2009 in Lodi, California. She was born November 15, 1923 in Aurora, Utah on her mother's 20th birthday. Her parents Frank and Murby Nelson were third generation Mormons, also born in Sevier County, Utah. She married LaVar Sorenson in 1941 in the Manti Temple and had two children, Linda and Jimmy Sorenson. After LaVar's death she married James Shelley of American Fork. They were the proud parents of Jane Shelley. When James Shelley died, she was married to Guy Conder of American Fork.
