Stephen Olpin Whitehead, 87, passed away on September 30, 2015 in American Fork, UT. Born on May 29, 1928 in Salt Lake City, UT to Richard Owen and Emma Pearl Olpin Whitehead. He married Betty LaRue Dimick on August 4, 1950 in American Fork.
Survived by his wife, children; Cheryl (Joel) Adams, Stephen R. Whitehead, Kyle (Mary) Whitehead, 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, a sister JoAnne (LaRoss) Brady and a brother Richard Whitehead. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister Betty Staples.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 11:00 a.m. at Battle Creek 2nd Ward, 1250 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove. Viewing will be Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and on Monday from 9:45-10:45 at the church prior to services.
