Ruth Williamson

Ruth Larsen Williamson, 91, passed away November 23, 2016 in Highland, Utah. Born September 23, 1925 the daughter of David LeVaa and Thelma Harrison Larsen. She married George Bacon Williamson II May 15 1946 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.
Ruth was a real estate investor and loved playing tennis and bridge. She loved life and traveling to see new places. She was a very optimistic person and was very social and outgoing. Ruth was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Sue Shreev; Patricia (Michael) Brunner; Laura Black; Anne (David) Farrell; George (Alicia) Williamson III; Thomas (Jennifer) Williamson; 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeannie Mackey and Lois McGrath. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister Helen Gailbraith.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Highland 17th Ward, 5335 West 11200 North. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial in Forrest Lawn Cemetery, California.
