He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in a bishopric, high priest quorum leadership, and as a high councilman. One of Kay’s most enjoyable callings was to serve in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Kay and Lorie were called to serve a stay at home mission to the cannery in Lindon. He also served with the Boy Scouts of America for 29 years.
Kay enjoyed riding motorcycles, four-wheelers, sand rails, side-by-sides, as well as camping with family and friends. He also enjoyed serving his neighbors and friends in any capacity that he could help them. His grandchildren looked forward to hearing stories of his past and rough housing with him.
