Glenda Kristine Thurston Perry, 62, passed away March 27, 2017 in Provo, Utah. Born March 25, 1955 in Provo, Utah to Glen and Iola Sorenson Thurston.
Glenda worked for several facilities caring for those who were not able to do so. She also pursued some college courses at Southern University in Criminal Justice and Steven Henegar for Medical Assisting. Kris married William Perry in November 1977, they later divorced. She loved her family especially spending time with her grandchildren. We were Mom's focus in life. She was active in the LDS Church.
She is survived by her children: Mike (Jantz) Perry, Jarrin (Tiffani) Perry, Dustee (Peter) Johnson, Peter (Cheyanne) Perry, Jeff Perry. Step Children: Jenny (Peter) Schow, Chad (Amber) Perry, Cody Perry, 30 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Siblings: Kalvin Thurston, Naioma Debolt and Norene Johnson. Proceeded in death by her parents, a grandson, sisters Frances Watson, Charline Butterfield and twin infant siblings.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the LDS Church building located 1548 N 900 W Pleasant Grove Utah at 11am. Friends and family may pay their respects to the family at 10am.
Burial will be in the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens in Orem, Utah at 1pm. 1000 N 400 E Orem Utah.
