Gary Abbott

Our Gary Nathan Abbott passed away at the age of 22 years old on April 9, 2017 in Moab Utah due to suicide. We will never fully understand the conflictions that went on in his mind, but will always remember his empathy and bright light that he so willingly shared with others.
He was an incredibly devoted son, brother, friend, and uncle. His love for those close to him was unmistakable. He was a talented musician and artist who also found great happiness and peace in nature. Nathan had a unique way of deeply impacting those around him in a positive and thought provoking way. He will be missed immensely and remembered for his sense of humor and passion for knowledge and growth.
Nathan is survived by his parents Gary Lynn Abbott and Leslie Beutler Abbott, sisters Lindsey Jorgensen (Kelly), Kacy Rawlings (Joe), and Natalie Abbott (Derek).
Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Gary Nathan are invited to the LDS meetinghouse at 949 N. 540 W. in American Fork on April 18th at 11:00am to reminisce, grieve, and support one another.
