Brad Adams

September 18, 1960 — May 24, 2016

Brad Adams was born on September 18, 1960 the 6th child of JR and Marleene Adams. He passed away May 24, 2016 after a battle with cancer.
After High School Brad enlisted in the Air Force in which he served for 20 years before retiring. His Air Force career took him around the world and finished in San Antonio, Texas. After his retirement he worked in San Antonio for the Salvation Army before returning to Utah in 2006.
Brad was compassionate, wise, and always willing to help everyone. He loved gardening, admired nature, and design. Brad was always willing to help everyone with anything and share his treasures he found at the DI.
He often would hear a family member working on a project and the next thing you knew he was there with the perfect decoration, or fixture for it. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed giving them a personalized gift basket for birthdays and holidays.
He is survived by and very much loved by his Mom, and siblings, Cindy Johnson, J'Lene Willes (Dell), Clay (Shaurna) Adams, Jim (Nancy) Adams, Teena (Darcy) Allan, Glen (Rachelle) Adams, Dean Adams and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, grandparents and brother-in-law, Lynn Johnson.
Brad will also be missed by many other family members, friends and neighbors whose lives he touched.
We would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who cared for Brad the last few years of his life at Huntsman Cancer Center, U of U, First Choice Home Health and Hospice. Brad enjoyed his doctors and nurses as much as he hated being sick. They were his second family.
There will be a graveside service at American Fork Cemetery, 600 North Center Street, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2 p.m. with a small luncheon at his home after the services.
