David Andrew Pilkington

David Andrew Pilkington

Beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend Dave passed away about August 2, 2010 peacefully in his sleep. Dave was born October 6, 1972 in Upland, CA. He had a great sense of humor, and delighted in quoting movies and telling jokes to keep people happy and the mood light. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and hiking, with his dog Rodi and anyone who would go with him. He had a love of music, and his eclectic taste ranged from The Grateful Dead to Gershwin. He often whistled tunes in any situation. He enjoyed fine wines, and fine food. He loved his family and his friends, and was the most loyal and caring person a friend could have. He is gone too soon, but not forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee “Pop” Pilkington.

He is survived by his mother, Patty Pilkington; his brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Jill Pilkington; niece and nephew, Thomas and Suzann Pilkington; aunts and uncles, Jody and Ed Mierau , and Jana and Udo Winkler; cousins, Nicholas and Jordan Mierau, Jennifer and Nick Broman, and Scott Seaman.

He also leaves behind numerous friends and his beloved dog Rodi.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday August 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Jordan Willows 2nd Ward, 901 S 2300 W, Lehi and Sunday August 8, at the Salt Lake Sugarhouse Park, Sego Lily Pavilion from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Utah Animal Adoption Center on their website at utahanimaladoptioncenter.org
