John Don Miller

John Miller passed away on the morning of May 29, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was 87 years old and a resident of Highland, Utah for sixty years.

He was born January 10, 1923 in Emery, Utah to Charles Henry Miller and Marvella Winn Miller. He married Rosella Koch Miller on June 4, 1949. They had one child, Jeanne Marie.

John served his country during WWII. He worked for Geneva Steel for 33 years. John enjoyed playing music, fishing, hunting, traveling, and helping his family with every need. John was an honest, hard working person who devoted his life to his family.

He is survived by his wife Rosella, daughter Jeanne (Lynn) Christen, brother Ned, sisters Connie and Bonnie,
4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Max, Wilford and James, his sisters, Violet and Helen, and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork Interment in the American Fork Cemetery with military honors by VFW Dist IV.
