Eldon Aaron Walker

Eldon Aaron Walker, 82, passed away March 8, 2010 in American Fork, Utah. He was born October 2, 1927 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Aaron Burton and Ruby May Bullock Walker. He married Bonnie Lou Hamann on May 28, 1947 and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 1964. Bonnie died August 23, 1980. Eldon married LaVern Ivie Hopkinson on June 19, 1981.

Eldon loved his dog, his horses, motorcycles, and playing the guitar. He was a hard worker, loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He held various positions in the LDS Church and scouting. He was in the Good Sam’s Club for years.

Survived by his wife LaVern, the children: Sherry (Russ) Hansen; Steven (Lynn) Walker; Jean (Tom) Folkman; Dennis (Sherry) Hopkinson; Dana (Michelle) Hopkinson; 15 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his son Randy Hopkinson, brother Russell Walker, 2 granddaughters, Melinda Walker and Stephanie Hansen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Timpanogos 6th Ward Chapel, 300 East 500 North. You may visit with the family at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
