Copper caskets are also built durably and are non-rusting. They span a median range of cost and are also of a distinguished appearance. Prices range from $3595.00 to $4595.00

STEEL CASKETS:

Steel caskets range widely in price according to quality and thickness of steel, the design, and the interior.

Stainless Steel is referred to as the highest quality of steel. It has the same durability as copper with a lower cost. Prices range from $2595.00 to $2795.00.

Carbon Steel is the type of steel used most commonly. It is the steel used in appliances and automobiles. It can be enhanced with extra protective qualities. To more fully understand steel, it is priced according to thickness. An 18 gauge means that it would take 18 sheets of metal to make one inch. Therefore, 18 gauge is your highest quality and 20 gauge, because it would take 20 sheets to make an inch, is thinner, providing less protection and costing less.

A Brushed Finish means a casket has been treated with special skills and craftsmanship on the exterior. Prices range from $2195.00 to $2495.00

A Painted Surface requires much less time and skill. Prices range from $ 895.00 to $2195.00.

 

WOOD CASKETS:

Wood caskets are made from many different wood species. They inherently lend warmth and natural beauty to the surroundings. They also vary widely in cost according to the type of wood, design, craftsmanship, and interior. Built like fine furniture, a wood casket will always appear unique in its wood grain patterns. It has a natural beauty and special warmth.

Prices range from $ 1895.00 to $5495.00.

 

Custom Interiors are also available to enhance and make tribute to the life of the deceased. Inserts and special panels can be created to add to the personal tribute. The patterns chosen may emphasize work, hobbies, special interests, sports, or lifestyles.

 

OTHER OPTIONS :

Rental Caskets are solid oak hardwood with a removable interior liner which may be used for cremation or other memorial purposes. Cloth and Cremation caskets are available. Other simple and appropriate arrangements can be made for cremation or special memorial requests.

Most cemeteries will require a vault for burial. The vault serves to further protect the casket from the elements. Vaults range in price according to materials and quality. Vaults are built of structural concrete, and offer a range of design options and lining materials. There are varying degrees of reinforcement to choose from, each affecting the quality and final price. We feature Wilbert vaults, and are happy to provide answers to your questions regarding vaults.
